I own and operate the Shapland Swim School at Everton Park. Along with my daughter Emma and our highly trained and efficient staff we aim to make your child’s learn to swim journey a happy, productive and rewarding experience.

Here at the Shapland Swim School Everton Park we pride ourselves on supplying the best possible learn to swim teachers and teaching methods.

The pool is a specially designed teaching pool and is heated to 32 degrees Celsius all year round. With only three pupils per learn to swim class and a maximum of two swimming classes in the pool at any one time your child will receive more individual attention.

Our free swimming lesson make up system ensures value for money and because we do not run our learn to swim program according to school terms or offer blocks of lessons your place in our swiming program is a permanent one. This means you never have to rebook your childs swimming lesson time; it is yours until you notify us you need to change.

Emma and I as well as our staff love what we do as we feel we really make a difference in people’s lives.

General Information

• A maximum of 3 students per learn to swim class with no more than two swim classes in the pool at any one time.

• Once a swimming lesson time is accepted, you remain at that lesson time – ongoing – unless you formally “Request a Change of Current Swim Class Time” and are advised of such change.

• We do not run blocks of swimming lessons or term lessons. Our program is a seamless year long learn to swim program which means you never have to re-book your swim class time at the end of each block or term

• The swim school office will be staffed each morning – 8.00am to 12 Noon (weekdays).  We are available to discuss with you any questions or queries you may have regarding your childs learn to swim progress.  If you wish to arrange an appointment outside of the swim schools office hours, please call 3353 3016.  If we are unavailable, please leave a message and we will return your call as soon as possible.  (The Office is located at the front of the house at the rear of the Swim School).

• Until children can confidently swim without goggles, we would prefer them not to be worn during the swimming lesson.  We are more than happy for confident swimmers to wear goggles.

• The swim school will close for all public holidays unless notified.

• We will inform you of other dates the swim school may be closed and adjust your fees accordingly.
